Leading Economists Tell Us What to Expect in 2012 at the Annual Economic Outlook Luncheon Hosted by The Executives' Club

CHICAGO, Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On January 12th, over 1,500 Chicago business leaders are expected to attend The Executives' Club of Chicago's annual Economic Outlook luncheon.

Diane Swonk, Chief Economist at Mesirow Financial; Dennis Gartman, Editor of The Gartman Letter; and  Robert Froehlich, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Strategist for Wealth Management at The Hartford Financial Services Group, will give their forecasts for 2012. They will explain trends in financial markets, inflation, growth rates and any other financial topics provided by the audience.

Award-winning journalist Terry Savage of the Chicago Sun-Times will moderate this lively discussion, a position she's held for the past 31 years.  

Adviser to finance ministries around the world Dennis Gartman is expected to discuss the euro and whether recent positive trading is a sign of lasting improvement.
