The members include nationally-renowned healthcare leaders and key influencers in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and health economics.
Livongo's panel of diabetes and healthcare experts will provide feedback and advice as Livongo delivers programs to improve the care of chronic conditions. The Advisory Board will support Livongo in continuing to deliver clinically-advanced, real-time, and personalized care enabled by technology and experienced caregivers where and when appropriate.

Dr. Mark McClellan, MD, PhD, MPA is the Director of the Robert J Margolis Center for Health Policy and the Margolis Professor of Business, Medicine and Health Policy at Duke University. Formerly, he was a senior fellow and director of the Health Care Innovation and Value Initiative at the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at The Brookings Institution, in Washington, D.C. McClellan served as Commissioner of the United States Food and Drug Administration under President George W. Bush from 2002 through 2004, and subsequently as administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services from 2004 through 2006.
Dr. Anne L. Peters, MD is a nationally and internationally respected diabetologist and one of bestdoctors.com's "Best Doctors in America". She is professor of medicine and director of the USC Clinical Diabetes Program and the former chairperson of the American Diabetes Association Council on Health Care Delivery and Public Health. Dr. Peters has a research center in East Los Angeles where she works with her team to prevent diabetes in the surrounding communities and has authored Conquering Diabetes: A Cutting-Edge, Comprehensive Program for Prevention and Treatment.
Richard V. Milani, MD, FACC, FAHA is the Chief Clinical Transformation Officer, Vice-Chairman of the Department of Cardiology, and Professor of Medicine, at Ochsner Health System, Ochsner Clinical School – The University of Queensland School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. His background and research focuses on population health with a special interest in chronic disease and medical informatics. William Polonsky, PhD, CDE is Associate Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at the University of California San Diego and President and Co-Founder of the Behavioral Diabetes institute and has served as Senior Psychologist at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, faculty member at Harvard Medical School, and Chairman of the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators. A licensed clinical psychologist and certified diabetes educator, Dr. Polonsky is a distinguished national and international lecturer on behavior diabetes issues and an active researcher in the field of behavioral diabetes.
