Leading Cross-Border M&A Lawyer Amy Comer Joins Crowell & Moring's London Office
New partner will advise clients on cross-border investment and financial matters, with a primary focus in emerging markets
LONDON, Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Crowell & Moring LLP is delighted to announce the addition of Amy B. Comer as a partner in the firm's Corporate Group in London. Comer is an internationally recognized practitioner who has nearly 20 years of experience handling international corporate, commercial, and technology transactions, with a primary focus in emerging markets. She will advise clients on cross-border and U.S. domestic investment and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, restructurings, corporate and project finance transactions, and general corporate and commercial matters.

Comer's global and U.S. clients span multiple industries, including technology, media, telecommunications, energy, life sciences, insurance, and financial services. In the energy sector, she negotiates and drafts wholesale power purchase and tolling agreements, natural gas sales and purchase agreements, and energy hedging (derivative) agreements. Additionally, she counsels media clients on copyright, trademark, and licensing issues related to the distribution and licensing of films, television programs, and music. She also advises clients in the technology and telecommunications industry on software licenses, technology development agreements, privacy policies, and website terms of use.
