Leading Analyst Firm Names Cleversafe in 2010 Hype Cycle and Object-Based Storage Emerging Technology Analysis Report

CHICAGO, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Cleversafe, Inc., the leader in resilient storage solutions ideally suited for storage clouds and massive digital archives, announced that it has been included in two recent research reports from Gartner: Hype Cycle for Storage Technologies, 2010 (as a sample vendor) and Emerging Technology Analysis: Object-Based Storage Targets Cloud Storage Infrastructure. The Emerging Technology Analysis classifies Cleversafe as a vendor within the emerging cloud-oriented object-based storage. Additionally, Gartner cites Cleversafe in the cloud-based storage emerging technology analysis report as an emerging vendor.

Cleversafe's Dispersed Storage™ technology has been in the market for more than two years, seamlessly and securely divides data into slices, and then disperses them to multiple storage nodes typically across three or four data centers.
