LDR Interactive Bolsters TopicPulse Team with Key Talent
Veteran Media Executives Hank McMonigle and Dana Hall Join LDR Interactive's TopicPulse Management Team
CLEVELAND and DALLAS, April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LDR Interactive (http://www.ldrinteractive.com) announced the addition of two new executives to its TopicPulse (http://www.topicpulse.com) leadership team. Hank McMonigle joins the team as Vice President, Sales for TopicPulse and Dana Hall joins as TopicPulse Support and Client Services Manager.
McMonigle and Hall will lead client development and service for TopicPulse, LDR Interactive's ground-breaking real-time social media monitoring system for local newsrooms and content producers. TopicPulse scans social media including Twitter and Facebook, blogs, comment/message boards, and news sources to track trending topics in a local market. Through a user-friendly dashboard, stations access trending video and images and identify the primary demo (gender and age group) most engaged with a topic on social media. TopicPulse also features a "glance" screen, which can be utilized as a "heads up display" of local trending topics and a Tweet Map, enabling producers to create hyper-local content based on up-to-the-minute social trends.
McMonigle brings more than 30 years of experience in the media industry to TopicPulse, most recently serving as Vice President/General Manager at NextMedia Group in Dallas. He launched his career as News Director and Assistant General Manager at KTUH-FM at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu and General Sales Manager at KPOI/Honolulu.
In 2001, Hank joined the Maxagrid Broadcast Revenue Management team in Dallas where he developed TV and radio station partnerships and led client training. Later, he joined Susquehanna Radio (now Cumulus) as the Local Sales Manager of the heritage sports/talk giant, KTCK-AM, The Ticket. Ultimately, he became General Sales Manager at The Ticket's sister station, KPLX-FM 99-5 The WOLF.
Dana Hall is a veteran broadcast and music industry journalist. In her years as a writer, she covered formats ranging from Urban, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Rhythmic, and Top 40 for Radio & Records, Billboard Airplay Monitor, and Radio-Info.com. Most recently, as the Executive Editor at Radio-Info.com, she led a team of writers and journalists that covered all formats in radio, as well as the broadcast media's growth into the digital realm. Prior to her work as a journalist, Dana was a programmer at WILD, which served the African American community in Boston.
LDR Interactive CEO, Daniel Anstandig commented, "Hank and Dana bring exceptional talent and perspective to our growing team. They are media-industry thought-leaders and relationship builders. Their enthusiasm for innovation and forward-thinking mindset is already driving TopicPulse's growth in the days since they've joined our team."
