Layar's Augmented Reality Browser Now Available for Symbian

Layar, the largest platform in mobile augmented reality, today announced the availability of its Layar Reality Browser on Nokia devices built on the Symbian operating system (OS). Owners of S60 as well as Symbian^3 devices with GPS, front-facing camera, compass and accelerometer can now rediscover the world around them using Layar's augmented reality browser.

Layar Reality Browser Features
Augmented Reality View
The core feature of the Layar application allows you to see the digital content overlaid on top of the image shown by the phone's camera.
Nearby View
The starting view or the "home page" of the Layar augmented reality browser used to find augmented reality content of all varieties around the user's location.
Browser View
The Browser View feature enables the user to see the most popular layers, local layers as well as different categories of layers available around them.
Map and List View
Map view enables the user to see points of interest marked on the map relevant to their location. While in the list view, the user will be able to see all the points of interest nearby in a structured list.
