Lawsuits against Testosterone Manufacturer says The Torkzadeh Law Firm

Several prominent research studies, doctors and universities have recently linked testosterone use with a 3-fold likelihood of having a heart attack, stroke or any other major medical event.

In January of 2014, the FDA issued a statement that it is investigating the link between injuries and death and the use of testosterone.

"When you use pharmaceutical products that are supposed to help improve your quality of life, but end up doing the exact opposite because of a known deficiency or defect, we must all recognize that something went wrong," said Raiszadeh, who said the point of the litigation is to get answers.

One of the studies conducted by the prominent National Institutes of Health tracked 56,000 men who were receiving testosterone between 2008 and 2010.  This study found double the rate of heart attacks in the months after starting testosterone.  No greater risk was found in younger men without a history of heart disease.

"The testosterone drugs that we see on the market today do not have a warning label or even mention any increased risk on their labels or commercials. It's about corporate responsibility and making sure not only that consumers are protected, but that they know exactly what the potential dangers are prior to taking any medications," said Raiszadeh.
