Lawrence Kline Named Managing Director of Perkins+Will Miami
MIAMI, Sept. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Perkins+Will is excited to announce that Lawrence Kline will be joining the firm as Managing Director of the Miami office. Kline's extensive experience leading major municipal projects as well as corporate and educational facilities makes him a valuable addition to Perkins+Will. For the past 25 years, Kline has worked with Spillis Candela & Partners/AECOM where he served as a Principal. His work has become well known for its ability to meet scheduling challenges and strict budgetary constraints while continuing to maintain a strong design aesthetic. Throughout his career, Kline's projects have received multiple American Institute of Architects (AIA) awards.

Lawrence Kline will be heading the office in partnership with award-winning Design Director Pat Bosch AIA LEED AP who has led teams in regional and international projects. Kline and Bosch will continue endeavors on a variety of projects such as the Miami Dade College Student Center; Miami Children's Hospital; the University of Florida Clinical and Translational Research Building; the recently-completed Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University in Saudi Arabia; and a major global consumer products innovation and research center in Brazil. As Kline assumes the role of Managing Director, Jose Gelabert-Navia AIA LEED AP will take on a firmwide role as Regional Director for Latin America, working closely with International Strategy Director, Richard Marshall. Gelabert-Navia and Marshall will work together to further pursue and collaborate on international projects in Mexico, Brazil, Africa and Kasakhstan.
Perkins+Will Miami has recently been further invigorated by the joining of Associate Principal Bob Bistry LEED AP, formerly of HOK. Bob brings expertise in corporate and commercial work having collaborated on a variety of projects including high-rise office buildings, residential towers, large mixed-use developments, and public and institutional facilities.
