The Complaint alleges that the defendants made materially false and misleading statements concerning the Company's ability to produce Biofene. On November 1, 2011, Amyris disclosed that it would not be able to produce Biofene in the quantities previously represented. In reaction to this news, shares of Amyris fell more than 20% to close at $15.47 per share.
