Laura Salerno Promoted to Senior Account Executive at Rubenstein Public Relations
NEW YORK, Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Laura Salerno has been promoted from associate publicist to senior account executive at Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR). She joined the firm in April 2009 and will be handling a variety of consumer and entertainment-related accounts.
Previously at Rubenstein Public Relations, Laura assisted with media outreach on accounts, including Columbus Square, a five-building rental complex in Manhattan; City Harvest, the world's first and New York City's only food rescue program; Cellufun, a mobile social-gaming community; boxing legend Don King; and the Friars Club's roast of Matt Lauer, among others.

Prior to joining RPR, Laura was an account executive at Sonobi Public Relations in Jersey City, where she managed and generated placements for accounts such as Gail Garrison Couture and Pan Am Travel Goods. She was instrumental in planning and executing special events including a gifting suite for Pan Am at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas and the launch of a limited edition Pan Am / Marc Jacobs handbag. Previously, Laura helped with promotions for Optimum Online's Optimum Triple Play and Verizon FiOs.
