IXcellerate, Russia's premier carrier-neutral data centre operator announced today that it has successfully launched Eurasia:peering, a new independent peering platform in Moscow.
Initially located at IXcellerate's Moscow One Datacentre, Eurasia:peering is a neutral layer-2 peering point that will connect Russia with its neighbors in Eurasia including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia, China and more.
With 1GB and 10GB ports for first members and 100GB available, the new peering point will be a perfect solution for international players in Eurasia looking for a neutral Internet Exchange in the region. Offering private peering VLANs as well as multi-lateral peering arrangements, Eurasia:peering has involved some of the best experts within the industry to maximise client experience.
Eurasia:peering will enable clients to exchange traffic cost-effectively and efficiently, by speeding up Internet access for individuals and businesses and increasing resilience in the region by creating a new centre for interconnection in Moscow.
