LATV Hires Andres Rincon to Bolster National Sales Efforts
NEW YORK, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- LATV Networks, the 3-year old national Hispanic television network, announced today that it has hired Andres Rincon as an Ad Sales Director based in its New York office. Rincon brings over 9 years of Hispanic Media sales experience to his new position, and will report to LATV's Vice President of Sales & Distribution, David Morales.
"Andres has the breadth of sales experience, knowledge and talent that LATV needs as it continues expanding its national footprint," said Morales.
Although based in New York, Rincon will also spearhead LATV's efforts to develop business in Texas, where he spent much of his professional career. Additionally, Rincon will sell LATV's "American Latino" and "LatiNation" half-hour syndicated weeklies, which are going into their 9th and 7th year (respectively) in national general market syndication.
Prior to joining LATV, Rincon worked in the New York office of Hispanic Mediaworks, where he was responsible for both brand and DR national TV sales. In 2008, the same company relocated Rincon from Dallas, where he had been in charge of Azteca America's spot sales office.
Previously, Rincon worked for over 5 years at Telemundo ZGS, where he held various positions as Director of Business Development, National Sales Manager, and Manager of Marketing and Research.
Mr. Rincon began his career at CNBC Europe in international sales and marketing, after receiving his Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Florida.
LATV is the only remaining Latino-owned TV network in the Hispanic television space. Its programming primarily targets US-born Latinos, with content that features a combination of originally produced shows as well as licensed content that has never before been seen in the U.S. LATV's fully-owned subsidiary, American Latino Syndication, produces and distributes "American Latino" and "LatiNation," two award-winning, Latino-themed TV programs that are broadcast on general market stations in over 100 cities nationwide as well as the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
