Latin Trade Announces The Corporate Winners Of The 2013 BRAVO Business Awards
The 19th annual event presents Maria das Gracas Silva Foster, CEO of Petrobras, with a Lifetime Achievement award and recognizes five other business leaders for their significant contributions to Latin America and the Caribbean

Maria das Gracas Silva Foster, CEO of Petrobras, will be honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of her notable leadership and trajectory at Petrobras, the largest company in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as her impressive personal story, growing up in a challenging environment and rising to become the first woman to run a major oil and gas company.
Additionally, Alvaro Fernandez Garza, CEO of Alfa, will be presented with the CEO of the Year award for dramatically increasing Alfa's profile through several strategic acquisitions.
Ignacio Antonazas, CEO of Enersis, will be bestowed the International CEO of the Year award for guiding the remarkable expansion of one of the largest private electricity multinationals in Latin America.
German Efromovich, CEO of Synergy Group, will be recognized as the Innovative CEO of the Year for his visionary leadership of Synergy Group. Under his direction, Avianca was transformed into one of the region's largest and most profitable airlines.
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, one of the world's leading tire companies, will be honored with the Trade Americas BRAVO award for its impressive trajectory fostering SME development in the Latin America region. Jaime Szulc, CEO of Goodyear Latin America, will receive the award on the company's behalf.
Magalie Dresse, President of Caribbean Craft, will be presented with the Innovative Social Sustainability award for her outstanding work at the helm of an innovative and successful Haitian business that links independent local artisans with the international marketplace.
