Latest PowerNet Global Expansion Offers Broadband Internet to More Local Businesses
Network will provide high-speed Internet to businesses in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas
CINCINNATI, Aug. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PowerNet Global, veteran of the telecommunications industry for more than 20 years and well known for strong business ethics, integrity, and reliability, today announced another expansion of coverage to offer high-speed Internet service to even more businesses in greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas.
PowerNet Global placed equipment on three new towers that provide an additional 40 square miles of coverage in northeastern and southern parts of Cincinnati as well as parts in Northern Kentucky. The expansion also provides additional coverage for areas that were previously covered by the original towers and first expansion, including all of downtown Cincinnati, Evendale, Reading, Sharonville, and Walnut Hills.
The wireless broadband service, supported by a high capacity, high-speed microwave transport ring that comprises the backbone of the network, allows PowerNet Global to offer businesses a broad range of connectivity options. The latest enhancements also mean the local teleco can expand their voice and data offerings in these local areas.
The new expansion allows PowerNet Global to service businesses in Blue Ash, Montgomery, Pisgah, Sharonville, and other surrounding areas in northeast Cincinnati. Other cities added in the southern areas of Cincinnati are Avondale, Corryville, Hyde Park, Mt Adams, Mt Auburn, Mt Lookout, Norwood, Oakley, OTR, Pendleton, Pleasant Ridge, and Rookwood. In Northern Kentucky, Bellevue, Covington, and Newport are also serviceable by end of August 2012.
"We want businesses to know that there are Internet service providers like us that can provide higher quality voice and data services, often for less than the traditional Internet providers in this market," said John Putnam, vice president of direct sales at PowerNet Global. "Whether you use it as a stand-alone product or bundle with our voice services, we deliver exceptional value, especially with a starting price point of $79.95 per month."
With plans to continue expanding coverage in the local area, PowerNet Global will be able to provide high-speed broadband service to other northeast areas of Cincinnati, including Amberley, Deer Park, Kenwood, Montgomery, Silverton, and other nearby areas by late 2012/early 2013.
