The 3.9-mile Las Vegas Monorail ranks among the best rail systems in the U.S. in terms of the number of riders carried per mile of track and revenue earned per mile. I'm excited to have welcomed our 55 millionth passengers."

For those visitors spending the long weekend in Las Vegas, and for those attending the MAGIC Market Week apparel show next week- the Las Vegas Monorail is the easiest and most hassle free way to travel between resorts and convention spaces. With seven separate stops between MGM Grand and the Sahara, we're close to everything. And with a variety of passes ranging from $12 to only $8 for 24 hours of unlimited rides, combined with trains leaving every 4-12 minutes, we're both inexpensive and convenient.
When asked why they chose the Monorail to navigate the Las Vegas Strip, Kelsey said, "It's cheap and fast- it's easy access to everywhere we go." Her mother, Michelle added, "It's something we've never tried before."
In 2012, the Monorail reduced greenhouse gas emissions by more than 23 tons and eliminated an estimated 1.9 million vehicle miles that would have otherwise congested Las Vegas roadways. In addition, during large conventions like CES, SEMA, NAB and World of Concrete, the Las Vegas Monorail carries an average of 60,000 people into and out of the Las Vegas Convention Center over the course of each four-day event.
