Las Vegas' IMAGINE DRAGONS Join AWOLNATION On The Road This Fall
FIRST SINGLE, "IT'S TIME" TOP 10 AT ALTERNATIVE ROCK AND AAA RADIO
FULL LENGTH DEBUT, NIGHT VISIONS, SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE ON SEPTEMBER 4
SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- KIDinaKORNER /Interscope Records recording artist IMAGINE DRAGONS have announced that they will hit the road this fall with AWOLNATION and indie hip-hop artist Zeale commencing September 8th in Philadelphia, PA. The seven week tour will hit major cities in the United States before wrapping on October 25th in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
"Playing live is something we never get tired of, maybe because we can never predict the insanity that can and usually does happen at a show," says lead vocalist DAN REYNOLDS. "There is something deeply personal and yet incredibly exciting about sharing new songs with a live audience."
The first single, "It's Time," off their EP Continued Silence is currently #6 at Alternative Rock and #5 at AAA. Watch the video here: http://youtu.be/sENM2wA_FTg. IMAGINE DRAGONS are in the studio with Grammy Award winning producer ALEX DA KID (Eminem, Rihanna) putting the finishing touches on their full length debut, Night Visions, scheduled for release September 4th.
Hailing from Las Vegas, the quartet which is Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon (guitar) Ben McKee (bass), Daniel Platzman (drums) harnessed the restless energy of "the city that never sleeps" with two EP's in 2009 — Imagine Dragons and Hell and Silence — earning a string of local accolades, including becoming the "Most Requested Band of 2010" on LOCAL 107.9, being chosen as a Vegas Music Summit Headliner, being voted "Best Local Indie Band 2010" by Las Vegas Weekly, and being awarded "Best CD of 2011" by Vegas Seven magazine. In 2010, they released their third independent EP It's Time.
