Fireworks Light Up the Sky
Ring out the old and ring in the new by watching a stunning fireworks display in the sky above the famed Las Vegas Strip. The dazzling pyrotechnics show launches from the rooftops of seven resorts along the iconic boulevard: MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, ARIA Resort & Casino, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island (TI), The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino and the Stratosphere. The highly anticipated America's Party is hosted by Las Vegas Events (LVE) and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) with the fireworks display being produced by world-renowned Fireworks by Grucci of New York. The 8 minute and 12 second show will light up the night's sky with more than 88,000 fireworks.
Concerts & Entertainment
GRAMMY Award-winning group, Maroon 5, will toast 2014 with two shows at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Dec. 30 and 31. Both shows start at 8 p.m. and open with special guests, A Great Big World and Rozzi Crane.
Bruno Mars takes the stage for an unforgettable performance at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Mars will perform at The Chelsea on Dec. 29 and 31 with the celebration beginning at 9 p.m. each night.
Britney Spears will leave fans wanting more on New Year's Eve weekend with the premier of her show, "Piece of Me" at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Tickets are available for shows on Dec. 27, 28 and 30 along with Britney's special performance on New Year's Eve that kicks off at 10 p.m. Fans will experience all their favorite songs plus new tracks from Britney's eighth studio album.
The Pearl Concert Theatre inside Palms Casino Resort welcomes Robin Thicke to Las Vegas on Dec. 29. Tickets are available for the concert that starts at 8 p.m.
Celine Dion rings in the New Year with her fans at Caesars Palace inside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. This masterful and iconic show starts at 7:30 p.m.
The Fremont Street Experience will rock in 2014 with their Downtown Countdown New Year's Eve celebration that takes place from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. This street party includes non-stop music from co-headliners Blues Traveler, Loverboy and Vince Neil. Perched high above Las Vegas Boulevard, guests can lace up their ice skates for a winter treat on New Year's Eve. The Ice Rink at Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will feature a live stream of Bruno Mars' concert from the new performance center, The Chelsea.
