Las Vegas Fundraiser Scheduled for Sunday, June 15

COPPELL, Texas, June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In respectful memory of the victims of last Sunday's shooting, CiCi's Pizza on Nellis Boulevard in Las Vegas will hold a "Sharing Our Support" fundraiser for the victims' families on Sunday, June 15.

The restaurant, operated by franchisee Mike Haskins, will donate 100 percent of sales to funds that have been set up for the families of the two fallen officers, and a third victim at a nearby retailer. Other CiCi's locations in Las Vegas and across the nation also will hold various fundraisers and accept donations.

"The entire CiCi's family is profoundly saddened by the events that took place in one of our restaurants last Sunday," said CiCi's CEO Darin Harris. "We are joining hands on Sunday to honor the victims, show our support for their families and help our team members during this difficult time."

A permanent memorial will be placed in the restaurant to honor Las Vegas Metro Police Officers Igor Soldo and Alyn Beck.
