Larson Electronics announced the addition of the EPL-TP-2X150LED-100 explosion proof quadpod mounted LED lights. Delivering more than 20,000 lumens, operators can elevate the light heads to 12 feet and position each head to cover an area of 15,000 square feet. Portability is a key feature with this Class 1 Division 1 LED light system and the heads can be easily removed and the aluminum quadpod with fold-up legs collapses to less than 5 feet and 20 pounds for ease of transport and storage. The 100 foot SOOW cord is terminated with an explosion proof plug and this hazardous area lighting system can operate on 120/277 VAC. Once on the jobsite, operators can use the removable wheel assembly to move the lights to where they are needed and the 4 adjustable legs can be used to stabilize the system on uneven surfaces.
"By providing a way to move and elevate 300 watts of LED illumination, operators can position this temporary lighting solution where is gives the most coverage, while keeping it out of the worker's peripheral vision," said Rob Bresnahan with Magnalight.com. "The durability of this explosion proof LED lighting system is ideal for tank cleaning operations, offshore construction and plant turn-arounds."
Larson Electronics, with in-house fabrication and CNC capabilities, produces a wide range of explosion proof lighting and power distribution for industrial applications.
