Mr. Rifkin is a member of the Executive Board and is a Past President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), South Florida Chapter. He is a past member of the Board of Governors of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) with headquarters in Washington, D.C. Mr. Rifkin is the Chair of the Administrative/Immigration Law Committee for the Florida Bar's International Law Section and he is a Past Chair of the International Law Section. Mr. Rifkin was an inaugural member of the Florida Bar Immigration and Nationality Law Certification Committee which is charged with the preparation and administration of the requirements and a special examination given to practitioners in the area of Immigration and Nationality Law who seek to designate themselves as Board Certified Specialists in Immigration and Nationality Law. Mr. Rifkin has published numerous articles on Immigration and Nationality Law in official Florida Bar publications including The Florida Bar International Law Quarterly and The Florida Bar Journal; and in the American University Law Review. He has authored Florida Bar consumer publications entitled U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents and Employment Based Non-Immigrant and Immigrant Visas and regular Immigration Updates. Mr. Rifkin is a co-author of The Visa Processing Guide, Process and Procedures at US Consulates and Embassies, Second through Eighth editions and the 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 editions. Mr. Rifkin is the managing partner of the law firm of Rifkin & Fox-Isicoff, P.A. Mr. Rifkin, individually, and the firm have received the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell - "AV" with regard to legal competence and ethics.
