Largest Federal Employee Union Hails Supreme Court Marriage Decision

WASHINGTON, June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- American Federation of Government Employees National Vice President for Women and Fair Practices Augusta Y. Thomas today issued the following statement:

"AFGE applauds today's Supreme Court ruling declaring that same-sex couples across the country have a Constitutional right to marry. This was the right decision for the country and the right decision for everyone who believes in the principles of fairness, equality, and basic human dignity.
