Large Diameter Butterfly Flow Control Devices Delivered to Power Plant In Shanghai
SHENYANG, China, Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NF Energy Saving Corporation. (NASDAQ: NFEC) ("NF Energy" or the "Company"), a leading energy saving services and solutions provider for China's power, petrochemical, coal, metallurgy, construction, and municipal infrastructure development industries, delivered to a new power plant in Shanghai another order of large diameter flow control products, including 10 sets of DN1400 electric butterfly valves and corollary equipment and 4 sets of DN1400 hydraulic control butterfly valves and corollary equipment. As of August 15, 2013, the company has provided the same client with 30 sets of large flow control devices for big pipes with diameters ranging from 400mm to 1600mm, or 15" to 60".
Built to provide electricity supply to Chongming and two other islands, the new power plant consists of two 400 mw class gas-steam combined cycle units, which are scheduled to commence operation in the first half and third quarter of 2013, respectively. Operation of the power plant will help supply power in Shanghai and should reduce carbon emissions significantly.
