LAPIZ Names Luciana Cani SVP, Executive Creative Director
Leo Burnett Lisbon Creative Director Tapped to Oversee Agency's Creative Work
CHICAGO, May 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- LAPIZ appointed Luciana Cani as its new senior vice president, executive creative director overseeing the agency's creative team. Cani will lead creative output across the full client portfolio including work for Advanced Auto Parts, Allstate, Purina and the Mexico Tourism Board.
Cani has nearly 20 years of advertising experience, with the past nine years spent as a key leader of Leo Burnett Lisbon overseeing creative work for clients including Samsung, Atlantico Bank and the Portuguese National Railway.

Her work has gained global recognition including awards from D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Clios, Eurobest and ADCE. Cani is also the only creative director to appear three times at the top of the rankings of the official Creative Club of Portugal.

Prior to Leo Burnett, the Brazilian-native worked as an art director at leading agencies in Saõ Paulo, Brazil including Leo Burnett, Ogilvy & Mather and Grey. Cani is also a published author and illustrator, with her debut children's book recently receiving inclusion on the National Reading Plan of the Portuguese Ministry of Education.
