Respected Houston attorney, trial psychologist to lead world's largest law fraternity
HOUSTON, Oct. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Noted attorney and trial psychologist Dr. Robert Leone of The Lanier Law Firm in Houston has been elected Chancellor of Delta Theta Phi, the world's largest law fraternity.

Dr. Leone will serve a two-year term as leader of the 115-year-old international fraternity, whose membership has included an array of esteemed civic leaders and jurists, including former U.S. Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson, Calvin Coolidge and Theodore Roosevelt, President and U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William Taft, and Supreme Court Associate Justices Oliver Wendell Holmes and Sandra Day O'Connor.

During his career, he has served as a trial psychologist in such high-profile cases as the Oklahoma City bombing trial, the McDonald's hot coffee case, the Susan Smith child drowning case and the trial for the murder of Tejano singer Selena.
Dr. Leone earned his undergraduate psychology degree and research design graduate degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his clinical psychology degree from U.S. International University. He earned his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, where he helped establish the school's Delta Theta Phi chapter.
