NEW YORK, Jan. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Language startup LingroLearning announced today a strategic partnership with W. W. Norton & Company as the exclusive seller of LingroLearning language services, effective immediately.
"We are thrilled that our startup will be teamed up with such a highly esteemed and accomplished sales force," stated Steve Debow, CEO of LingroLearning. Contraseña is co-authored by Dr. Amy Rossomondo (University of Kansas) and Dr. Gillian Lord (University of Florida) and is the first introductory Spanish program in the education space built from the ground up as a fully digital solution. "It is built on the tenets of backward design and visible outcomes," said Samantha Alducin, Vice President of Interactive Learning. "Contraseña promotes transparent and effective learning and fosters the development of communicative and cultural competence in Spanish." It is already in use at a range of North American colleges and universities, including Cal State Long Beach, Emory University, Golden West College, Louisiana State, Marquette, Michigan State, University of Cincinnati, University of Florida, University of Kansas, and Western Kentucky University.
"Providing students and faculty with affordable, flexible, high-quality content has long been Norton's top priority," said Mike Wright, Vice President and Director of Sales at W. W. Norton & Company.
