Landmarks Around the World to "Go Teal" on November 8th for AFA's "Light the World in Teal" Alzheimer's Awareness Campaign
Iconic Landmarks Among the Nearly 300 "Going Teal" to Raise Alzheimer's Awareness
NEW YORK, Nov. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Landmarks across the country and around the world will light up teal on November 8th to raise Alzheimer's awareness as part of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America's (AFA) Light the World in Teal program.
The annual program, held in November for Alzheimer's Awareness Month, aims to literally shine a spotlight on Alzheimer's disease and show support for the millions of people affected by it.
"From the most iconic buildings to those in small towns throughout the country, every site that is going teal for Alzheimer's awareness on November 8th is helping to enlighten people about this growing health epidemic which is affecting millions of families," said Charles J. - Country Music Hall of Fame (Nashville)

- Mercedes-Benz Superdome (New Orleans)
- Terminal Tower (Cleveland)
- Miracle Mile Shops (Las Vegas)
- Niagara Falls (Canada)
- Sichuan Tower (China)
- Torch Doha (Qatar)
This is the fifth year of AFA's Light the World in Teal campaign, and is the largest showing yet. Nearly 300 sites around the world are taking part in this year's program.
