Landacorp Announces New Chief Clinical Consultant, Gerald Osband, MD

CHICO, Calif., July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Landacorp today announced its' new chief clinical consultant, Gerald Osband, MD, who will join Landacorp in the further advancement of its healthcare collaboration solutions.

Dr. Osband has held various executive physician positions and brings over 35 years' clinical expertise as a board-certified family practice physician. Previously, Dr. Osband served at The Trizetto Group, Carewise Health, OzMed Inc., CNN Managed Care, Inc., and Health Risk Management, Inc.

Dr. Osband brings extensive experience to Landacorp by providing clinical and administrative guidance for software application development in care management, core administration, value-based incentives and value-based reimbursement products for commercial, Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Dr. Osband has also developed, implemented and managed quality improvement and analytics programs in multiple care delivery environments and has provided independent consulting services for several major Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and McKesson, a recognized data management and guidelines organization.
