Laguna Treatment Hospital Recognized for Providing Gold Standard of Care

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Aug. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Joint Commission has awarded Laguna Treatment Hospital its Gold Seal of Approval®, an internationally-recognized symbol for healthcare quality. This distinction means the hospital has achieved accreditation by demonstrating its compliance with performance standards and commitment to provide safe and effective care.

Laguna Treatment Hospital is Orange County's first chemical dependency recovery hospital. The 93-bed facility opened in June 2016. The hospital provides medical detox and residential treatment for adults struggling with drug and/or alcohol addiction and a secondary mental health disorder or a medical condition such as diabetes or hypertension.
