LAC Group Consolidates Business Units Into One Company

LOS ANGELES, July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- LAC Group is consolidating its business units under one brand, LAC Group—spelled L-A-C. Streamlining operations will lead to greater efficiencies, stronger financial positioning, a cohesive voice in the market and new opportunities for employee teamwork and collaboration.

Leading the company will be CEO Rob Corrao, who says: "We are excited about the opportunities that await us as one company. With a singular vision, we are better-positioned to help our enterprise clients manage and leverage their knowledge and information assets."

The change will affect the following companies, which will become LAC service lines:

Chase Cost Management (CCM) → LAC Spend Management Services

Founded in 1998 and acquired by LAC Group in 2011, CCM provides indirect spend management programs and services to control business operating expenses. CCM will become LAC Spend Management Services serving clients globally, from our New York City office.

LibSource → LAC Knowledge & Information Services

LibSource was carved out of LAC Group to market Library as a Service®, a flexible and comprehensive suite of research and intelligence services for law firms and corporations. LibSource will become LAC Knowledge & Information Services, with employees around the world.

PRO-TEK Vaults → LAC Content and Archive Services

Founded by Eastman Kodak in 1993 and acquired by LAC Group in 2013, PRO-TEK Vaults serves the motion picture and media industries with comprehensive preservation and archiving services. PRO-TEK will become LAC Content and Archive Services has its state-of-the-art facilities in southern California.

LAC Federal → LAC Federal Services

Providing a full spectrum of archiving, knowledge and information management services to federal agencies, procured under GSA Schedule and other contracting vehicles, LAC Federal will become LAC Federal Services and will continue to operate from the Washington DC metropolitan area.

LibGig to continue as LibGig

LAC Group's recruiting services and online job board will continue to operate as LibGig to support its growing online community of employers and job seekers in the library, knowledge and information management arena. LibGig will continue to operate online at libgig.com.
