Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Social Justice Committee Hosts District 1 Forum
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- According to Alcohol Justice, the Social Justice Committee of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lincoln Heights has agreed to host a Candidates Forum tonight at the at the request of several candidates for Los Angeles Council District #1. For years the working class community of Lincoln Heights has been the center of several issues that have begun to be felt in other parts of the City. City support for additional alcohol sales near sensitive use areas and alcohol advertising on public property are among the top concerns to be addressed.
