La Buona Vita's Homemade Pasta Gives New Meaning to 'Fresh' and 'Local'

LA GRANGE, Ill., Oct. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- At La Buona Vita, the "fresh-to-table" concept takes on a whole new meaning.  La Buona Vita is redefining the Italian dining experience, serving up a mouth-watering array of Northern Italian dishes, fine wines and craft beers – all in a warm, welcoming and musical setting.

"Many restaurants serve 'fresh' pasta, but they have purchased it from a supplier," says Terry Rempert, owner and executive chef at La Buona Vita. "Not here. We make our own pasta on site, using special, fine-grade semolina that's not available in stores. There's no comparison to pasta made and served the same day."

Chef Terry invites you to come and watch him make his pasta during live chef demonstrations in the restaurant every Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in November. Chef Terry will also answer questions about the pasta making, the restaurant's extensive wine list, upcoming specials and sourcing the freshest ingredients for their dishes. Chef demonstrations kick off November 1.

Each week, Chef Terry introduces new specials, whenever possible integrating seasonal produce with a distinctive, Northern Italian flair. One week may see Pumpkin Ravioli with a butter sage sauce on the menu. Another week it may include Butternut Squash or Roasted Brussels Sprout Risotto. Comfort foods like Roast Pork Loin start to appear on the menu as the chill of late fall sets in.

• Monday - $20.00 Featured Bottles of wine
• Tuesday - In addition to pasta-making demonstrations, the homemade pasta of the day is $12.95, house wines are $5 and draft beers are $4
• Wednesday - Any wine priced less than $50 is half price
• Thursday - $6.00 Craft Cocktails
• Friday Night – Live Music
