L2 Defense Acquires ATEC, Enhancing Emergency Management Simulation and Training Capabilities for Defense and First Responder Clients

(ATEC). ATEC is a South Florida-based provider of emergency services training and simulation exercises for the military and federal agencies, as well as state and local emergency services communities.

The transaction brings together two highly complementary businesses serving U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) customers. L2 Defense, an SBA 8(a) certified small business, is one of the largest providers of ILS and training services for the chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense market. With its strong military-experienced staff, L2 Defense excels in addressing the needs and requirements of DoD programs and military operations. ATEC combines a highly qualified base of first responder and Homeland Security subject matter experts with state-of-the-art exercise methodologies to deliver the most effective programs for training the nation's emergency services and emergency management communities.
