Kyyba Inc. Launches New Company, Makes Acquisition of Flint Area Firm
Kyyba Intermedia LLC acquires IHM Media
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmington Hills-based Kyyba Inc. has launched a new company, Kyyba Intermedia LLC, with plans to shortly roll out a new health and lifestyle magazine along with a video and podcast series.
Kyyba Intermedia's focus is on becoming Michigan's go-to source for information about wellness, health care, medicine, technology and lifestyle innovations, utilizing both print and digital mediums.
A key part of Kyyba Intermedia's overall strategy includes the company's recent acquisition of Flint-based IHM Media, publishers of Michigan Innovative Health magazine.
The resulting new magazine, Kyyba: Health & Life, will develop original content for a diverse readership, including seniors, professionals, small business owners, veterans, teens and others who are looking for information about health care choices, innovations in wellness and lifestyle trends.
A launch party announcing the podcast series, the debut of Kyyba: Health & Life magazine and the annual edition of "Hope for Flint," along with social media plans, will be held in Flint on Thursday, May 30 between 5 and 9 p.m. at Ferris Wheel, 615 Saginaw St., Flint, Mich. 48502.
In announcing the new company, Kyyba Inc. Founder and Chairman Tel K. Ganesan said he was excited to help spread the message of health and well-being through a wide range of platforms, including the company's print, video, and social media services.

Karen Smith, who was IHM Media publisher, has been named the director of publications for Kyyba: Health & Life. Smith said her team will bring readers the latest information about all types of innovations, from AI, preventative and alternative medicine, health technology and trends, as well as wellness lifestyle themes.
Kyyba Intermedia's podcast and video service will produce sponsored audio and visual content in partnership with local and regional brands.
