KyLinTV Donates Chinese Textbooks to Chinese Schools Across North America
NEW YORK, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The largest Chinese IPTV platform in North America, KyLinTV, in a move to make the Chinese language accessible to anyone who would like to learn it, generally promote a better understanding of Chinese culture as well as to help first generation Chinese parents teach their native tongue to their children, is donating the recently released and up-to-date textbook for learning Mandarin Chinese -- "Ninhao" -- to Chinese schools across the United States and Canada.
The "Ninhao" textbook project is supported by the Chinese Language and Culture Education Foundation of China, sponsored by the Agile Property Holdings Limited, and published by Ninhao Online (Beijing) Corporation. Designed especially for kids in grades 1 through 12, the book is based on a series of Chinese language learning materials structured so that they meet the needs of the reader regardless of his or her current mastery of the language -- beginners who don't yet know a word as well as relatively fluent speakers who wish to hone their Chinese skills can both benefit from this book. The book's 800-word vocabulary, 60 grammar points and more than 30 daily communication situations can provide novices, intermediates and even more advanced learners with a solid foundation in the language. The textbook will allow students to not only communicate in simple Chinese, but to also learn about and get an understanding of China and its culture from its many different aspects, from travel and food to how day to day situations are handled and how they differ from the American or Canadian experience.
Danny Chen, publisher of "Ninhao," and a well-known leader in North America's Chinese community as well as chairman of Ninhao Online, says, "We are very pleased to cooperate with KyLinTV in donating the books to Chinese schools. We will continue to work with KyLinTV so that the children of our community can learn Chinese through this new interactive platform."
KyLinTV president Duan Jianbing adds, "It has always been one of the KyLinTV objectives to create innovative ways for learning the Chinese language and help Chinese families preserve their cultural heritage. As a part of these efforts, KyLinTV was the first and only network to set up a Chinese-language children's channel and video-on-demand package in North America. As the world's leading Internet TV platform, KyLinTV plans to continue working with key partners such as the Chinese Culture Foundation and Ninhao Online to provide quality services to Chinese communities!"
As the textbooks are in limited supply, it is recommended that Chinese schools across North America contact the regional managers as soon as possible to reserve their supply of these worthwhile textbooks.
