Kyle Turley, Former NFL All-Pro, Joins Advisory Board at Grow Pod Solutions

CORONA, Calif., July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Grow Pod Solutions, developer of the world's most advanced automated hydroponic farms for commercial and home use, announced that NFL legend, Kyle Turley, has joined the company's advisory board. Turley played with the New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Rams, and Kansas City Chiefs, and was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2000.

Turley has been active in helping former NFL players and combat veterans reduce opiate addictions and improve their quality of life. He is an advocate for education about head trauma, and testified before congress in 2010, giving his account of the impact of concussions on his life.

Turley was featured in the documentary United States of Football examining issues of neurological health in the NFL and youth league football, and has been involved with efforts to assist youth sports programs in head trauma prevention.

Turley sits on the Board of Directors of Gridiron Greats, a non-profit organization providing medical, housing and financial assistance to retired NFL players in dire need. In addition to Turley, the organization's board includes Hall of Fame players and Super Bowl coaches.
