Now, regulators are trying to encourage edible manufacturers to sell in a more responsible manner. New regulations state that each edible sold for recreational use must be wrapped individually or scored to show individual servings, with no more than 10mg of THC per serving, in child-resistant packaging.

"There will likely be other problems as pot use spreads, and likely more new laws to come," according to the report.
