Kurtzman Carson Consultants Adds Former Litigators to Its Class Action Team
MATTHEW BUCHER AND ROBERT DEWITTE JOIN THE COMPANY'S GROWING SETTLEMENT ADMINISTRATION PRACTICE
NOVATO, Calif., Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Kurtzman Carson Consultants LLC (KCC), a Computershare company and premier provider of administrative-support services for the legal and financial industries, announced today that class action attorneys, Matthew Bucher and Robert DeWitte have joined KCC's Class Action Services Team. The depth of their industry knowledge strengthens the company's proficiency in anticipating and meeting client's needs in class action settlement administration.

Matthew brings more than a decade of legal experience to KCC. He spent nine years with Milberg LLP, where he focused on securities and commercial fraud and played a significant role in the landmark case, In re Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation. Matthew began his legal career at Cauley Bowman Carney & Williams PLLC. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law and is licensed to practice law in both New York and Arkansas.
As a class action attorney in Chicago, Robert successfully represented plaintiffs in securities class actions, including the In re DVI Securities Litigation. He has in-depth experience in 10b-5 and 20(a) cases as well as large-scale merger-related matters and consumer class action litigation. Robert received a joint Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration degree from Indiana University where he served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Indiana Law Journal. He is a member and active supporter of the Chicago Bar Association's (CBA) Class Litigation Committee.
