Mr. Kilmartin now assumes the new post of chief revenue officer responsible for all of Krux's sales and business development efforts globally; previously, he served as vice president of sales.
Mr. Moreau takes on a new role – chief solutions officer and general manager, Interchange. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for deployment of the firm's data management platform (DMP) and customer satisfaction for the more than 100 enterprises currently using it throughout the world. He will also lead Krux's efforts in the emerging area of policy-managed data connections between publishers and marketers called Krux Interchange.
"Matt and Michael are proven leaders who have contributed hugely to the tremendous growth we have enjoyed at Krux so far," said Tom Chavez, co-founder and CEO, Krux. "I'm excited to be turning to both Matt and Mike to help Krux achieve its expansive revenue, product, and people development objectives."
Mr. Kilmartin has a diverse background having successfully led sales teams in technology, media and data solutions. Prior to joining Krux in April 2012, he spent nearly nine years at Akamai Technologies rising from senior account executive in its Enterprise Sales division to director of sales in the Advertising Decision Solutions team. Mr. Moreau is an expert in data-driven media strategies and brings nearly 15 years experience to his work at Krux beginning in May 2013. Previously, Mr. Moreau served as vice president of digital at GateHouse Media, which owned 400+ local media properties. He was responsible for digital strategy, operations, product development, programmatic trading and ad technology.
"I've always wanted Krux to provide a professional platform for many talented executives to hone their leadership capabilities," added Chavez. "There's no question in my mind that Matt and Mike will be running their own super-successful companies one day. It's an honor to be building Krux with them in the meantime."
