Krux Appoints Mukund Ramachandran As Vice President, Marketing
Senior Product Marketing and Digital Advertising Executive to Lead Global Marketing Initiatives for Data Management Platform Provider
SAN FRANCISCO, NEW YORK and LONDON, March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Krux, the global technology leader in cloud-based data management, has tapped senior product marketing and ad tech veteran Mukund Ramachandran as its vice president of marketing.
Mr. Ramachandran is a hands-on, experienced digital marketing executive with a strong background in product development, driving revenue growth and developing digital advertising solutions for top global brands. At Krux, Mr. Ramachandran is charged with global responsibility for all corporate and Data Management Platform (DMP) marketing initiatives including lead generation, development of sales and marketing material, overseeing the Krux brand and management of public relations and analyst relations.

Prior to joining Krux, Mr. Ramachandran served for nearly two years as general manager, brand at DataXu. Previously, he was senior director, product marketing at Tremor Video where he was responsible for driving product marketing efforts in bringing new online video products to market.
At Yahoo Inc., he was director, product marketing, helping to deliver high impact ad programs for top 200 brands using consumer promotions and online ad solutions. He helped to double promotions-based ad revenue in three years by expanding Yahoo's product offerings and solution scalability. He also worked as senior product marketing manager for Yahoo HotJobs and as a business analyst for Yahoo.
Mr. Ramachandran has a Master of management studies degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India; and a MBA in international business from the Thunderbird School of International Business, Glendale, Arizona. In addition to his new job, Mr. Ramachandran is a newlywed; he and his wife, Reena, live in New York City. He enjoys travel and is a big comedy fan.
