Kroger and United Food and Commercial Workers Local 700 Ratify Agreements
SOUTH BEND, Ind., July 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Associates of Kroger's Central Division, an affiliate of The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), have ratified agreements with United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 700.
The agreements cover approximately 800 associates working in nine Kroger stores in Northwest Indiana.
"Kroger and UFCW reached a good agreement that provides wage increases, affordable quality health care and a stable pension for our associates and their families," said Bob Moeder, Kroger Central Division president.
