Kristin Maples is recognized by Continental Who's Who

DALLAS, Sept. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kristin Maples is recognized by Continental Who's Who in the field of Manufacturing. Kristin is the Vice President of Allure Home Fragrance.

For over twenty five years, Allure Home Fragrance (formerly Judy Havelka Enterprises) has been creating handcrafted fragranced candles, all natural botanical blends, and various home fragrance products.  The Allure motto is "Decorate with Fragrance," and Allure prides itself on quality ingredients, sophisticated scents and decorative style.

Kristin has been Vice President for seven years. In this capacity, she works in the areas of account management, communications, customer service, marketing, manufacturing, new business development, sales, strategic planning and more. Her responsibilities change with each day. From selling and managing the manufacturing process and warehouse employees or developing new products, Kristin is always involved with the daily operations at Allure.

On being successful, Kristin's advice to young professionals entering the industry is: "Educate Educate, Educate. You can't read too much or attend too many seminars. Always learn from other experts in the industry and ask questions. Continuing education is important in any industry don't get to busy for it because it will come back to bite you."

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her fiancé and sons, as well as attending her children's sporting events. She also volunteers at Hope Fellowship Church where she has helped with running their bookstore and help center.

A member of the International Women's Leadership Association, Kristin earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Texas State University.

Looking into the future, Kristin would like to grow Allure Home Fragrance about 25% a year over the next four years and in doing so, be able to build a state of the art facility in Frisco, Texas.
