Krispy Kreme Brings New Neighborhood Shop to Fuquay-Varina
Shop on North Judd Parkway Offers Hot Original Glazed ® Doughnuts and Other Signature Product Offerings
RALEIGH, N.C., April 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation invites Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Apex and surrounding communities to celebrate the opening of its newest Neighborhood shop located at 728 N. Judd Parkway in Fuquay-Varina. Grand opening activities are scheduled for Tuesday, April 5.
The community is invited to enjoy Krispy Kreme's signature treats at the new Neighborhood shop in southwest Wake County. The 2,000-square-foot shop will include a drive-thru and feature Krispy Kreme's unique product offerings, which include its signature hot Original Glazed® doughnuts and other one-of-a-kind doughnut varieties; signature coffees and espresso drinks; and Krispy Kreme Chillers® and iced beverages. The new shop will also offer Krispy Kreme's Kool Kreme® soft serve menu of traditional cones, shakes and specialty doughnut sundaes, paired with a toppings bar.
At 6 a.m. on April 5, grand opening day, the first customer in line will receive one free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts every week for one year. The next 49 customers in line will be awarded one free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts every month for one year. Commemorative Krispy Kreme Fuquay-Varina t-shirts will be given to the first 100 people in line as well. Product sampling will take place throughout grand opening day.
The Krispy Kreme Drive for 45 III campaign benefitting Victory Junction, a camp that provides life-changing experiences to children with serious illnesses and life-threatening medical conditions, will kick off at the new shop on April 5, beginning at 12 p.m. The 45-day campaign will raise donations to help sponsor 100 children to a full session of camp. The camp's signature pink Chevy-pickup truck, donated by Taylor Swift, will also be onsite.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 12 p.m. tomorrow, April 5. The ceremony will feature the Fuquay-Varina store's general manager, Ron Driver, as well as Krispy Kreme executives, including Cindy Bay and Steve Wymer, market manager for North Carolina. Dignitaries from Fuquay-Varina will also participate.
The Fuquay-Varina Neighborhood Shop, located at 728 N. Judd Parkway, will operate Sunday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
