Kramer Levin Partner Carl Frischling Receives Lifetime Achievement Honor At The Mutual Fund Industry Awards Gala
NEW YORK, April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP is pleased to congratulate Carl Frischling for being named this year's Lifetime Achievement Award winner at Fund Directions' 20th Annual Mutual Fund Industry Awards on April 25th at The Mandarin Oriental in New York. Frischling is a Senior Partner and the co-head of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel's Financial Services Group. His practice focuses on financial services law, financial services regulation, investment company law, and mutual funds.

Last year's recipients were the former directors of The Yacktman Funds.
Frischling counsels clients in all of the legal facets that impact financial services firms, including acquisitions and sales of investment managers and investment management companies. He also advises mutual funds and their independent directors/trustees on fiduciary obligations under federal securities laws, helps clients develop new mutual fund products, and advises clients on distribution channels and alliances.
Frischling serves on the board of Reich & Tang Funds and is a Director of the Mutual Fund Directors Forum. He also serves as a trustee of the Yorkville Youth Council, as well as on the Advisory Board of BoardIQ and the Editorial Board of Money Management Executive. He served on the board of Invesco Funds for 35-years, before retiring in December of 2012.
