FLEXFIT has a unique back-story. Inspired by an idea from the teen founders, Matthew Aronson and Rachelle Wailes, FLEXFIT is a wellness tool with tremendous use that virtually every person, young or old, athletic or not, healthy or otherwise, can use and benefit from. The original concept formed during a STEMi competition in 2014 focused on injury prevention. Over the last two years, FLEXFIT developed through a unique combination of youth energy and adult depth, reared with patronage from their parents, who themselves are sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing professionals with over 25 years of experience in business and entrepreneurship. With their flagship product engineered by the team, KRAM Wellness is rolling out mass-production of the FLEXFIT product with eyes on nationwide marketing and sales efforts to begin this fall.
FLEXFIT is truly a revolutionary product. The comfort grip single-handle has an integrated foam roller for self-myofascial therapy, allowing the user to receive full body tension release. FLEXFIT is also equipped with custom-designed dual roller caps that are shaped and sized for trigger point therapy, and a textured foot saddle which resists slippage, and ensures safe use of the FLEXFIT tool. Engineered with impeccable attention to detail, FLEXFIT is constructed of only the highest quality materials which are designed to withstand the rigors from recommended daily use. FLEXFIT is ideally used at least once daily before and/or after activity or during inactive times. It is very compact and mobile therefore it can be used anywhere from the home to the gym to the office.
"No matter what your schedule looks like or how little time you have due to sports or school, FLEXFIT can help you. Stretching is important to maintain flexibility and reduce the chance of injury. FLEXFIT makes stretching easy and effective," says co-founder, Rachelle Wailes.
The product has gone through clinical study in partnership with the Micheli Center, and has produced dramatic findings. One participant, John Woodland, aged 36, saw marked improvement by using FLEXFIT, using the tool regularly to relieve pain from the arthritis in his back, allowing him to return to the gym and is now, "a user for life." The tool can be used essentially anywhere, perfect for in-home therapy or tension release in the workplace. Another participant, Joey Mullaney, aged 22, is a Quinnipiac University Senior and member of CrossFit EXP who suffers from Friedreich's Ataxia (FA), a disease that causes progressive damage to the nervous system, and is also a huge fan of FLEXFIT. Because of FA, he has challenges with hand dexterity, but FLEXFIT is much easier to work with compared to other products that are simply straps.
KRAM Wellness has formed strategic partnerships with the CrossFit, Dance, Physical Therapist and Chiropractor communities which will allow FLEXFITs to be sold in these venues. Brand new to the market, FLEXFIT is already seeing the seeds of success starting to sprout in wholesale and retail environments.
KRAM Wellness is focused keenly on their upcoming Kickstarter campaign to mass-produce the units, and have dreams of one day appearing on Shark Tank.
