KPMG's Dan Tiemann Named to Consulting Magazine's 'Top 25 Consultants' for 2010

NEW YORK, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, announced today that Dan Tiemann, Transactions & Restructuring (T&R) service group leader in KPMG LLP's Advisory practice, has been named to Consulting magazine's list of the Top 25 Consultants for 2010.

Tiemann, who is also the global partner-in-charge of KPMG's Transaction Services, was recognized by the magazine for excellence in client service. Consulting noted that Tiemann has played a large role in growing KPMG's T&R group, and expanding its transaction services into new areas such as restructuring, business and lender due diligence, and infrastructure advisory.

A resident of Chicago, Ill., Tiemann earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Valparaiso University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA), and a member of the Illinois Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
