HfS identifies IA as a critical building block for organizations moving toward the "As-a-Service" economy, significantly accelerating speed of service delivery while reducing errors and redundancies. For companies starting this journey, developing strategic alliances and partnerships are crucial to striking the right balance between digital and human labor.
"As part of the technology ecosystem KPMG has built, our early adoption of cognitive technologies including IBM Watson, combined with our Lighthouse Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, allows us to create solutions within the firm that we can deploy to clients," said Steve Hill, Global Head of Innovation & Investments.
How organizations manage current and future disruption was a key takeaway from The HfS Blueprint Report, which highlighted KPMG as a case study for its effective planning and investing in a holistic IA deployment approach.
"When facing the disruption affecting nearly every sector of the marketplace, KPMG's investments in these technologies has allowed us to establish and expand our ecosystem with leading technology partners to help clients effectively manage the challenges facing their business and workforce, while at the same time helping us build capabilities that reinforce confidence in the capital markets," said Cliff Justice, principal, Innovation & Enterprise Solutions and U.S. leader for digital labor and cognitive automation, KPMG LLP.
