KPMG Names Stephanie Schnabel As Head Of Corporate Development
NEW YORK, Dec. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- KPMG, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, announced today that Stephanie Schnabel has joined the firm as its head of corporate development. In this role, Schnabel will be responsible for sourcing, planning and executing transactions, divestitures and joint ventures that support the firm's growth activities.

Schnabel previously served as managing director of corporate development at Accenture. There she was responsible for all of the firm's global acquisition and divestiture activities. Schnabel received her Bachelor of Arts in economics from Princeton University and her Master of Business Administration in finance and multinational management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
In FY 14, KPMG completed a total of 15 transactions, eight of which were in the United States. Each transaction added depth to its professional service offerings in key sectors including healthcare, financial services, industrial manufacturing and technology. Through these transactions, the firm expanded its service offerings in innovative areas of increasing importance to a range of organizations, such as data and analytics, digital and mobile solutions and cybersecurity, as well as financial service verticals such as hedge fund management and corporate restructuring.
