KPMG and National Association of Corporate Directors' Quarterly Webcast Will Provide Insights on Key Financial Reporting Developments & Governance Trends
NEW YORK, March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Audit Committee Institute (ACI) at KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, will co-host a webcast with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) to provide an overview of the 2013 legislative and regulatory landscape and the implications for businesses and board oversight.
The webcast, scheduled for Thursday, March 28 at 11 a.m. (ET), will also provide updates on key financial reporting developments and insights on governance trends and practices from KPMG's ACI. Panelists will address several important legislative and regulatory developments that boards and business leaders should have on their radar, from the implications of the U.S. fiscal crises and prospects for tax reform, to the impact of healthcare reform and the ongoing Dodd-Frank rulemaking activities of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other priorities.
