KPMG Appoints Lincoln Clark Global Semiconductor Leader
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- KPMG LLP, the audit, tax and advisory firm, has appointed Silicon Valley-based Partner Lincoln Clark as the leader of the firm's Global Semiconductor Industry practice.
A member of KPMG's Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, Clark has over 29 years of experience providing auditing and accounting services, including as lead partner for a significant number of multinational companies. In his new role, Clark will be responsible for setting the strategic priorities and growth agenda for KPMG's Semiconductor Industry practice, which also produces an annual global semiconductor industry survey and report. He will drive strategy and client services, broaden KPMG relationships with senior semiconductor executives, and continue to serve as the lead partner on a number of client engagements.
Clark says the semiconductor industry's ongoing consolidation has garnered much attention, and some industry watchers may be asking whether the fast M&A pace can continue.
"In a few weeks, KPMG will release key findings from this year's global survey of semiconductor business leaders," says Clark. "They will show whether the significant M&A activity will continue and which regions may be most impacted."
Clark replaces partner Packy Kelly who was appointed the Audit Partner in Charge for KPMG's Bay Area Business Unit.
Clark holds an undergraduate degree in economics and accounting from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.
