KPMG Announces 'KPMG Powered Enterprise' Cloud Offering
New initiative enables enhanced business transformation for companies adopting Oracle Applications Cloud
NEW YORK, Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, today announced it will bring its HR, finance, sales, and information technology business transformation experience together to help companies more broadly and rapidly realize the benefits of Oracle Applications Cloud.
This new initiative, known as "KPMG Powered Enterprise," provides pre-defined operating models and optimized process flows for HR, Finance, and Sales functions, delivered with pre-configured Oracle Applications Cloud to speed up business transformation. The KPMG and Oracle Cloud Integration Services Framework simplifies and accelerates adoption of Oracle's cloud integration toolset – as well as reducing the time and expense often associated with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-oriented integration and data conversion efforts.
"With KPMG Powered Enterprise we can offer a full enterprise suite of Oracle Application Cloud services that helps further enhance transformation efficiency and speed-to-value for clients," said Stephen Lis, KPMG's U.S. leader for Management Consulting. "As a result, we are able to meet our clients' growing demand for modernizing enterprise business functions on cloud-based applications and fully maximizing Oracle Applications Cloud."
KPMG will deliver its cloud-optimized RapidSolutionsm methodology and pre-configured Oracle Applications Cloud through the firm's Denver Oracle Cloud Solution Center.
"Oracle is excited to work with KPMG in developing and delivering leading Cloud-based enterprise integration solutions through our Oracle Cloud Integration Services framework," said Chris Leone, senior vice president, Oracle Applications Development. "KPMG's services for Oracle Cloud applications combined with its Oracle Cloud integration experience can help benefit customers of all sizes moving to the Oracle cloud."
As a KPMG June 2014 Technology Industry Outlook study showed, tech companies continue to leverage the cloud to improve their businesses by driving operational efficiencies to reduce cost (33%) and better leverage data for business decisions (22%).
Added John Houtary, KPMG's Global Oracle Network leader, "Through our experience, we've learned that companies are largely using cloud solutions to improve business efficiency, reduce costs and adapt to faster business cycles. By aligning operating model and process efficiencies and standardizing HR, finance and sales applications on Oracle's Applications Cloud, we can provide businesses an updated and simplified way to adopt cloud-based technologies and help them achieve real business value, not simply cost savings."
KPMG is a Platinum-level member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).
